Our first chapter is about Donald Johnston, the oldest of the two brothers who first founded the distillery in 1815. It was their shared, Uncompromised commitment to pioneering ideas, which shaped the Laphroaig whisky we all know and love today.
This is the first chapter in a new series of whiskies, all about celebrating those who have shaped Laphroaig. Beginning with the pioneering Donald Johnston, who with his brother, created the iconic Laphroaig whisky we all know today.
Donald’s life is shown through the artwork of illustrator Bill Bragg. An award-winning artist whose work can be found across the bottle, box and booklet.
