The Japanese whisky brand Mars is also called 'The Rising Star of Japanese Whisky' and for a very good reason. With different distilleries and maturation cellars, they can make optimal use of the different climate influences that the country has to offer. Cask number #3202 is distilled at the Shinshu Distillery and has been matured on an ex-bourbon cask.
Cask number #3202 has been specially selected for the Dutch market in consultation with the master distiller of Mars Whisky. The whisky was distilled in 2016 and last year (in 2022) it was Japanese water of life at a cask strength of 62% bottled. Only 211 bottles have been made and of course the whisky has retained its natural color and has not been cold filtered."
