First distilled in 1973 Longrow is a double distilled, heavily peated single malt product at Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown. The malt is peat dried for up to 48 hours to give the whisky a unique Campbeltown-style smoky character.
This Longrow Red Single Malt Scotch whisky has been matured for 7 years in Bourbon barrels followed by 3 years in refill Malbec barriques from De Toren Private Cellar in Stellenbosch, South Afrika. 10.000 bottles at cask strength are available."
