Sporting a deep purple-black color, the 2020 Taillefer leaps from the glass with exuberant notes of black cherry preserves, boysenberries and prunes, plus wafts of camphor, cardamom and espresso with a touch of bouquet garni. The medium to full-bodied palate has lovely freshness lifting all that rich, black fruit, supported by grainy tannins and finishing on a lingering savory note: 90/92 points.
