"This commemorative bottle contains a complex and masterful whisky that reflects each painstaking step in the whisky making process taken to make The Macallan. It celebrates the creation of an iconic distillery in a unique collaboration with renowned architects Roger Stirk + partners.
The whisky, displaying a rich amber hue, delivers subtle sweet dried fruits, oak, fresh apple and chocolate on the nose. These dried fruits are more intensive on tasting and subtle cinnamon and ginger spices are present. Add water and the apple and spice explore like a strudel, balanced both on the nose and on the palate.
Sweet yet dry with an elegant mouth coating this whisky promises a clean and warming finish through an optimum balance of character."
