Born in St. Andrews in 1945 Frank McHardy started his career in the whisky industry with Invergordon Distillers leading to Tamnavulin, Bruichladdich and Bushmills. Frank returned to Springbank in 1996 and is presently involved with overseeing the complete re-building of Mitchell's Glengyle Distillery in Campbeltown.
