Built in 1687 for a close friend of King James 11, the house welcomed Prince Charles Edward (1745), Benjamin Franklin (1759), Boswell and Johnson (1773) and many other renowned dignitaries.
The Prestonfield House Malt Whisky has always matured best in oak casks that have contained Sherry. Over a long period of time, our master blender has carefully cultivated the whisky until he alone considers it has attained the high standard required for Prestonfield House. The bottles are individually numbered by hand to guarantee exclusivity."
