Welcome to Islay and, importantly, to the north-eastern shoreline of this peaceful isle. It is here that the adventurous will discover Bunnahabhain Distillery and its wonderful single malts, the gentleness of which distinguishes then from many other Islay whiskies. In 1881, almost a century before this 25-year-old single malt was created, the distillery established itself on the remote coastal landscape looking out to the Sound of Islay. This tranquil place has distilled 'uisge bearha' faithfully through the years, with little remaining in the oak casks for as long as a quarter of a century, making this particular bottle all the more special. By not chillfiltering our whisky we ensure you can experience the full depth of flavour, aromas and character of this fine malt whisky."
