Bowmore 1965 truly represents the peerless qualities of our legendary No. 1 Vaults. This shimmering amber liquid has reached whisky perfection during its meticulous 52-year maturation in the finest single Oloroso Sherry Cask. One of the first liquids to pass through our then-new 1964 steam-heated stills, this vintage benefitted from smoother heating and greater control. allowing us to craft a spirit that was perfect for long maturation. Holding its body and character after five decades in an oak cask, Bowmore 1965 offers a deep flavour perfectly balanced with the iconic fruit notes that are at once an enigma to whisky connoisseurs worldwide and renowned in the most collectable aged Bowmore.
Here at Bowmore, home of the No. 1 Vaults, the World's oldest Scotch maturation warehouse, we take great pride in nurturing some of the World's most coveted single malt Scotch whiskies, working with Master Craftsmen and Women to ensure our packing shares the same production values. The unique cabinets containing Bowmore 1965 were handmade using responsibility-sourced Scotch Lowland oak and depict the liquid's maturation through the decades.
The silver adornments and unique hand-blown bottles, which may appear to have different liquid fill heights due to varying glass thickness, are also artisan-made. Should be handed with care to avoid any reaction to cleaning solutions.
The full sets contains the unique hand-blown bottle with a (925) silver capsule, Lowland oak case, booklet, a soft velvet cloth and the strong wooden travel case. The whole set weights 17 KG.
