"St Magdalene licensed by 1797 buy possibly producing at Linlithgow much earlier, St. Magdalene has long closed and is now very rarely found. To enjoy this full yellow gold 19 year old cask-strength single malt at its best, measure one part whisky to two parts still water at room temperature. Any slight cloudiness is normal in an unfiltered cash-strength malt. On tasting, a very aromatic grassy nose entices you into the malty, liqourice-like flavours of an unusually big-boned Lowland malt with a surprisingly robuust, peaty finish."
