About the Soave Vineyards
Approximately 30 kilometres east of Verona lie the vineyards of Soave, on the southern slopes of Monte Lessini, which shield the area from the cold northern winds. The wine takes its name from the beautiful ancient town of Soave, situated in the heart of the vineyards. The soil here is predominantly clay.

What began in the late 19th century with Pietro Sartori cultivating his own vineyard to supply his hotel with fine wine has, over four generations, grown into one of Veneto’s leading wine producers: Sartori di Verona. Still based at the family estate in Negrar, in the heart of Valpolicella Classico, the company has seen its exports flourish — today, Sartori exports no less than 80% of its production.

The estate owns vineyards in all the well-known classico zones and also produces several outstanding wines from individual vineyards. Together with renowned oenologist Franco Barnabei, Sartori oversees both the cultivation of the grapes and the vinification process.

The Sartori style ranges from classically aged to modern and youthful, from refreshingly dry to rich and intense. Among Sartori’s highlights are without doubt the delightful ‘Regolo’, a fine Ripasso, and the distinctive Amarone della Valpolicella — wines that are rightly considered among the very best Italy has to offer.

Straw yellow in colour. Delicately fruity bouquet. Fresh and subtle on the palate with a hint of almond on the finish.
