Maison La Chenais 2023 - Grenache Prestige Rose
Surprising! here comes a light salmon pink dress full of promises... classy? Discover an expressive nose divided between rose and grapefruit, full of elegance and restraint. Then, refreshing, chilled, material and crunchy, the mouth expresses itself with seriousness and delicacy. The grapes come from vineyards located between Béziers and Agde, in the heart of the Languedoc. There is a distinctly Mediterranean climate here with lots of sun, usually just enough precipitation and a cooling breeze from the sea. The grapes come from volcanic soils. The wine has a golden yellow color, with aromas of tropical fruit and a hint of butter and vanilla in the nose. In the mouth the wine is full, slightly oily and soft with the characteristic tropical notes in the taste.

The Maison la Chenais Prestige chardonnay bottle is closed with a vinolok. This glass valve fits seamlessly on the bottle and provides a hermetic seal using a small plastic ring.

Maison la Chênais (which means “house with the oak”) is a place in Languedoc that is part of history and has long been dedicated to wine growing. The king of trees, the green oak, which symbolizes longevity, grows here and dominates the site

The vine and the oak have always felt at home together. This tree, which, together with the Aleppo pine, is so characteristic of the south of France, is still widely represented in the 'garrigue', the typical landscape of undergrowth and thorny forests.
